Early Bird Registration Extension

The early bird registration deadline for the 2018 Region 6 workshop in Grapevine, Texas has been extended to February 2nd!  Join us and discover how sites around the region are “Interpreting New Frontiers.”

The Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau has put together a personalized discount package for workshop attendees.  All you need to do is show your badge at a participating business during the workshop to receive the discount.  Visit www.GrapevineTexasUSA.com/nai2018 to see which retailers and restaurants will have special offers for workshop participants.

Rooms are filling fast at the Comfort Inn.  If easy access to the hospitality room and Convention Center are important to you, make your room reservation ASAP.  If all the rooms at the Comfort Inn fill we will do our best to reserve a block at another hotel, but we cannot guarantee that will be possible.  Please notify danielle.bradley@tpwd.texas.gov if you need assistance with room reservations or need help finding a roommate.

For those of you interested in the one day option, we will have a schedule of the concurrent session available soon.  Detailed information about how to submit items for the scholarship auction at the CR Smith American Airlines Museum will be posted on the website in the next few days.  This 1940’s airplane graces the hangar at the museum where the auction will be held.  You can even go inside it.

As always you can e-mail myself (elizabeth.bittner@fortworthtexas.gov) or co-chair Lisa Cole (lcole@cityoflewisville.com) if you have questions or concerns.
